Kinsale Team Adventure Race 2026
Race Schematic will be published 1 month before race date.
Event date is Saturday the 26th of September 2026.
Camping is available the night before the race at the Event Base Camp where toilets etc will be available.
Endurance Race day schedule.
07:30 – Race Registration opens.
08:45 Safety and Race briefing for the Endurance Course entrants.
09:00 Stage 1 – Start – Orienteering event with a a difference!
Stage 2 – MTB stage with CP’s along the way.
Stage 3 – Water stage – You will be paddling and gathering CP’s.
Stage 4 – MTB Stage to include “Special Task”.
Stage 5 – Dash to finish line at Blacks Brewery Kinsale. Finishers will arrive between 16:30 and 18:00.
Prizegiving will be at 18:15pm Sharp at Blacks Brewery.

Stage 2 – Cycle stage with CP’s along the way.
Stage 3 – Water stage – You will be paddling and gathering CP’s.
Stage 4 – Dash to finish line at Blacks Brewery Kinsale. Finishers will arrive between 16:30 and 17:00.
Prizegiving will be at 18:15pm Sharp at Blacks Brewery.
The event will have two courses and provisional details are as given below:–
Both Courses will have an element of Navigation, Kayaking (Double Sit on Tops), Running/Trekking, and Cycling.
Race HQ and Start area in Kinsale TBC.
- A Sprint Race (3 Hrs Max) – Suitable for those new to team adventure races with very easy navigation Can be done on a road or any type of hybrid or mountain bike – E bikes are not permitted
Start Time 13.30 - An Endurance Race ( up to 9Hrs Max) – Suitable for those looking for a bit more challenge in terrain and navigation. Must use a mountain bike – E Bikes are not permitted
Start Time 09.00 am
Both races will be for teams of 2 – Either all male/female or mixed teams & all racers must be over 18 years of age.
For the Overall 2026 ARI National Team Series, this race result will count for one of the 3 Races in the overall series & prizes!

Sprint Course – Designed for Beginners

Activities Involved: Biking – Trekking- Orienteering – Paddling
Non-Technical Course / Easy to Navigate
Road or Mountain Bikes can be used
Race Map & Paddling Equipment Supplied
Support Provided!
Endurance Course – Designed to Challenge
Maximum 9 hours
Involves: Biking – Trekking – Orienteering – Paddling
Semi -Technical Course / With Moderate Navigation Challenge
Mountain Bikes are required for Endurance race.
